Hey there! I’m Chelsey and I am the owner and operator of Elevation Hair Lounge in Hamilton, Ontario. I specialize in all things hair-extensions and love being able to create a custom experience for all of my guests.

I fell in love with extensions when I had my own first set installed just after highschool - but I was pretty darn upset when they just weren’t lasting and kept falling out. So I thought to myself… Chels, you could sooo do these and make your client’s experience 100X better! Right then I decided to sign up for my first hair extension course in 2012 and started taking clients between my studies. Fast forward a few years later to a college diploma, a university degree, and a bunch of student debt, I just wasn’t happy in the field I was in and found myself enjoying doing hair more. I decided to take a leap of faith, (because everyone thought I was hella crazy) quit my job and opened the doors to my very first salon in 2020; yes, during a pandemic to boot!

Now with several more extension certifications under my belt I am confident when I say that anyone who walks into my salon is in great hands. I love what I do and I love being able to help women elevate their natural beauty. When I am behind my chair and able to create confidence, there is no place in the world I would rather be!

When I’m not at the salon you can find me most days hanging out with my furry friend, Cheddar, or enjoying a bite to eat with my friends/family. I love being outside exploring with the dog, and I love me some wood-oven pizza on a patio.

While I am not sure what the future holds, I could not be more excited to see where Elevation Hair Lounge will take me!
